Richard G. Derfuss, Jr.
January 30, 1927 - July 09, 2016
Richard George Derfuss, 89, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was formerly of Pearl River, New York and has lived at The Landings on Skidaway Island for the past 28 years.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Katherine E. Derfuss, one son, Richard Derfuss, two daughters, Karen Bertschinger, and Christine Oswick. Also surviving are three sisters, Ruth Alstete, Barbara Buhler, Dale Moore, and three grandchildren, Jillian Derfuss, Katherine St. Onge, and Richard M. Derfuss.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
